In WPResidence, the Login & Register forms are displayed as follows:
- Modal (Popup) Form when the User Login menu option is enabled in Theme Options > General > Header.
- Mobile Login & Register Form – A dedicated mobile form is displayed when viewed on mobile devices.
- Shortcode Inside Page – Help Login & Register shortcode
- Login & Register Widget when the login is used on Sidebars. Help Login & Register Widget
Global Settings for Login & Register Forms
Register Form password control
- You can control whether users are required to type a password or not.
- If set to YES, users can type their password during registration.
- If set to NO, the password will be sent via email.
Display user types dropdown in register forms
The option can be found on Theme Options > General > User Role settings
- This option determines whether users can select their user type when registering.
- Option Location: Theme Options > General > User Role Settings
- If set to YES, users can select from Regular Users, Agents, Agencies, and Developers.
- If set to NO, all new accounts will be registered as Regular Users by default.
Use reCaptcha for the register form
You can enable or disable reCaptcha for the register form from Theme Options -> Header -> reCaptcha settings.
