WPResidence includes several login and register form options. These forms can appear in the header modal, on mobile, inside a page with a shortcode, or in a sidebar widget.
Login and register forms overview
The login and register forms are used by visitors who want to create an account, log in, submit properties, save favorites, save searches, or access their user dashboard.
The main login/register options are managed from Theme Options → Header → Login / Register & Submit.
Where login and register forms can appear
In WPResidence, login and register forms can be displayed in several places:
- Header modal form – The login/register popup opens from the header login menu when the login menu option is enabled.
- Mobile login and register form – A dedicated login/register form is displayed on mobile devices.
- Shortcode inside a page – You can add the login/register form inside a page using the theme shortcode.

Header login and register settings
To enable or disable the login/register modal in the header, go to Theme Options → Header → Login / Register & Submit.
From this section, you can manage:
- Allow user registration? – Enables or disables user registration.
- Show user login menu in header? – Shows or hides the login menu in the header.
- Show submit property button in header? – Shows or hides the Submit Property button in the header.
Register form password control
The option Users can type the password on registration form? controls how the user password is created during registration.
- Yes – Users can type their own password during registration.
- No – The password is generated automatically and sent by email.
Display user types dropdown in register forms
WPResidence can allow users to choose their account type during registration.
This option is managed from Theme Options → Agents, Agencies, Developers → User Role Settings.
In older theme versions, this option may appear under Theme Options → General → User Role Settings.

The option controls whether a dropdown with user types appears in the register form.
- Yes – Users can choose between regular user, agent, agency, or developer, depending on your enabled options.
- No – New accounts are registered as regular users by default.
Use reCaptcha for the register form
You can enable or disable reCaptcha for the register form from Theme Options → Header → Register reCaptcha Settings.

Create the Terms and Conditions page
Users must agree to the Terms and Conditions before registering on the site.
You need to create and assign the Terms and Conditions page for registration.

Enable social login options
You can enable social login options to allow users to register or log in with supported social accounts.
