The front-end property submission form fields are managed from Theme Options → Submission & Membership → Property Submission Page.

In older theme versions, this section may appear under Theme Options → Membership → Property Submission Page.

These settings control which fields users see when they add a property from the front end, which fields are mandatory, how location fields work, how many images users can upload, and whether submitted listings need admin approval.

Enable location autocomplete in the submission form

The option Enable Location Autocomplete in Front-End Submission Form controls how the address/location fields work in the submit form.

Available options:

  • Yes – The address field uses Google Places or OpenStreet autocomplete to suggest locations automatically.
  • No – The location fields are shown as dropdowns. The dropdown values are managed by the admin.

Location fields required for autocomplete

If location autocomplete is enabled, the theme can automatically fill in the location details and place the pin on the map.

Important: For the automatic location fill-in and map pin placement to work correctly, all needed location fields must be selected to show in the submission form.

The recommended location fields to enable are:

  • Address
  • City
  • Area
  • County or State, depending on your setup
  • Country
  • Latitude
  • Longitude

Location fields selected for property submission form

If you do not want to visually show all address details on the front end, you can hide specific fields with custom CSS after keeping them active for the autocomplete process.

Use dropdowns instead of autocomplete

If Enable Location Autocomplete in Front-End Submission Form is set to No, the location fields will be displayed as dropdowns.

The dropdown items are added and managed by the admin from the property taxonomies.

Select the fields for listing submission

The option Select the Fields for listing submission lets you choose which fields are available to users when they submit a property from the front end.

Only the selected fields will show in the submission form.

Note: If you use location autocomplete, make sure the location fields needed for map pin placement are selected here.

Select the mandatory fields for listing submission

The option Select the Mandatory Fields for listing submission lets you choose which fields users must complete before submitting a property.

Important: A field can be mandatory only if it is also selected in Select the Fields for listing submission. If a field is not selected to show in the form, it should not be selected as mandatory.

If mandatory fields are enabled, the property cannot be submitted or published until all required fields are completed.

Maximum number of images per property

The option Maximum no of images per property controls how many images users can upload for each property from the front end.

This option applies when submission is:

  • Free
  • Paid per listing
Important: If you use Membership Submission, the number of images allowed is set per membership package, not from this option.

Submitted listings approval by admin

The option Submitted Listings Should Be Approved by Admin? controls whether front-end submitted listings are published automatically or require admin review.

  • Yes – Each property submitted from the front end must be approved by an admin before it becomes visible on the site.
  • No – Submitted properties are published automatically, without manual admin approval.

Choose Yes if you want to review listings before they appear on the website.

Choose No only if you trust your users and want submitted listings to go live immediately.
