Theme Options – Search – Taxonomies Multi Selection

These options allow you to enable or disable multiple selections for each taxonomy used in the Advanced Search form. When enabled, visitors can select more than one option from the same dropdown.

For example, users can search in more than one city, area, category, action, county/state, or property status at the same time.

Where to enable taxonomy multi-select

Go to Wp-Admin → Theme Options → Search → Taxonomies Multi Selections.

Available multi-select options

  • Multiselect for the Category taxonomy
    Allows users to choose multiple property categories, such as Apartment, House, or Villa.
    Options: Yes / No
  • Multiselect for the Action taxonomy
    Allows users to choose multiple property actions, such as For Sale or For Rent.
    Options: Yes / No
  • Multiselect for the City taxonomy
    Allows users to select multiple cities in the location filter.
    Options: Yes / No
  • Multiselect for the Area taxonomy
    Allows users to select multiple areas or neighborhoods.
    Options: Yes / No
  • Multiselect for the County/State taxonomy
    Allows users to select multiple counties or states in the location filter.
    Options: Yes / No
  • Multiselect for the Property Status taxonomy
    Allows users to choose multiple property statuses, such as New, Sold, or Under Construction.
    Options: Yes / No
  • Show Search in the multiselect component
    Shows a search box inside the multi-select dropdown, so users can quickly find the option they need.
    Options: Yes / No
Important: The taxonomy multi-selection options work only when Use Custom Fields For Advanced Search? is set to Yes.

To enable this option, go to Theme Options → Search → Advanced Search Form → Use Custom Fields For Advanced Search? and set it to Yes.

Note: After changing these options, save the Theme Options and test the Advanced Search form on the front end.
