The theme includes support for Energy Certificate and Greenhouse Gas Emissions details, which are especially useful for the European market.
You can manage these settings from:
Theme Options > Property Page > Energy Efficiency section
Admin settings for Energy Certificate and Greenhouse Gas Emissions
This section controls how the energy certificate block is displayed on the single property page.
The available options are:
- Energy Certificate Design – choose the layout used for the energy certificate block on property pages: Standard (Single Column) or French (Dual Column)
- Energy Classes separated by comma – define the energy class labels used in the certificate, for example A+,A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H
- Energy Class 1 to Energy Class 10 Background Color – set the color used for each energy class row
- Greenhouse Gas Emissions classes separated by comma – define the greenhouse gas labels used in the certificate
- Greenhouse Gas Emissions Class 1 to Class 10 Background Color – set the color used for each greenhouse gas class row
The Energy Certificate Design dropdown controls the layout style of the energy block. In the screenshot example, the selected layout is Europe/French (Dual Column).
The comma-separated class fields let you define the labels shown in the certificate. This gives you flexibility if you need a specific local format.
The color settings let you style the scale shown on the property page, so each class level has its own visual color.
What is required for the section to show on the property page
Add this information only if you want to display the Energy Efficiency section on the property page.
To show the section correctly, you need to add property-level values for the energy certificate fields. At minimum, you should add the relevant energy values and select the proper class from the available options.
If the property does not have the needed energy certificate information filled in, the section will not display correctly on the property page.
Front end submission options for Energy Certificate
If you want to show these fields in the front end submission form for listings, you must first enable the fields from the property submission settings.
Help article: Set mandatory fields in submit form from Theme Options
When adding a property from the front end, the energy fields will appear in the submission form under the Select Energy Class section.
If you do not want to use the Energy Certificate fields in the front end submission form, you can disable them from:
Theme Options > Submission & Membership > Property Submission Page > Select the Fields for listing submission
Energy Certificate colors and class scales
The theme lets you define up to 10 Energy Class colors and up to 10 Greenhouse Gas Emissions Class colors.
This is useful when:
- you want to match a local certificate format
- you need more than the default simple A to G scale
- you want custom labels such as A+, A, B, C or another regional variation
The order of the classes in the comma-separated field matches the order of the color rows below it.
Add Energy Class Certificate in Custom Property Template
If you use a custom property template, you need to add the Energy Certificate block in that custom template separately.
